Amiodarone's adverse effects in various systems have been well studied, although this is not the case with neurotoxic side effects. In this article, we discuss the neurotoxic side effects caused by amiodarone and the importance of a complete physical examination when starting this medication for supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias.
