WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS FOR PUBLIC HEALTH PRACTICE? Based on the local, epidemiological characteristics of food allergy, public policies on the prevention and management of FA should be developed and preventive practices should be promoted to decrease the overall prevalence of FA.
