description The sudden arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic has shaken our health care system, threatening our ability to be caring. Establishing a caring relationship requires time and a search for meaning. In the perinatal setting, the situation has exposed families to stress caused by isolation, both in the care relationship and from relatives. A global reflection and the development of an inter-organizational dialogue seem indispensable to limit the consequences of the health crisis on pregnant women and their newborns.
