Endoplasmic reticulum‐stress and unfolded protein response‐activation in immune‐mediated necrotizing myopathy

Patients suffering from immune‐mediated necrotizing myopathies (IMNM) harbor, the pathognomonic myositis‐specific auto‐antibodies anti‐SRP54 or ‐HMGCR, while about one third of them do not.
