Sumario:[Image: see text] An efficient and simple approach has been developed for the synthesis of unprecedented 4,5-diphosphonyldihydropyridazines and 3,4-diphosphonylpyrroles, through the condensation of bisphosphonylallenes with hydrazines and primary amines, respectively. The reactions proceed under operationally simple, mild, and catalyst-free conditions, for a wide substrate scope. The synthesized compounds were screened for their antiproliferative activity against melanoma cancer cells, and they showed promising growth inhibition.
