description This protocol describes the materials and approaches for administering liquid incentives to human participants during fMRI scanning. We then detail steps to connect the setups to the computer-controlled syringe pump in the MRI control room, followed by procedures for testing the syringe pump dispensing a liquid bolus during the task.
