Sumario:Low-skilled workers have the lowest participation in continuing education compared to other qualification groups. Against the backdrop of digitization, however, continuing education is becoming increasingly important for this target group. With a view to in-company continuing education, a social selectivity of the low-skilled becomes clear. In addition, factors at the individual, organizational, social and political levels have an impact on participation in continuing education. During the Covid 19 pandemic, qualification-specific differences in participation in continuing education became apparent, from which initial indications of the participation of low-skilled workers in continuing education under digitization conditions can be derived.
