description Otologic immunoglobulin G4–related disease (IgG4-RD) is a rare and a relatively newer pathology. COVID-19, IgG4-RD, and type 2 diabetes, all have independent capabilities to considerably affect the immune system. The immunological effects of COVID are a global conundrum; consequently, the association of this trio (otologic IgG4-RD, COVID-19, and type 2 diabetes), the only reported case in literature, paves the way for a fascinating interplay to explore the knowledge of which would help optimize treatment and improve disease outcomes.
