Precursor‐Directed Synthesis of Apoptosis‐Initiating N‐Hydroxyalkyl Phenylbenzoisoquinolindione Alkaloids

A precursor‐directed approach to access N‐hydroxyalkyl phenylbenzoisoquinolindiones (PBIQs) has been developed.
