Multimodal Imaging Characteristics of Circumscribed Choroidal Hemangioma Accompanying with Central Serous Chorioretinopathy: A Case Report

A 42-year-old man presented with a temporal visual field defect in his right eye. His history revealed systemic steroid use before onset of his complaints. Multimodal imaging techniques including ultrasonography, fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography, and optical coherence tomograph...

description A 42-year-old man presented with a temporal visual field defect in his right eye. His history revealed systemic steroid use before onset of his complaints. Multimodal imaging techniques including ultrasonography, fluorescein angiography, indocyanine green angiography, and optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) suggested the presence of circumscribed choroidal hemangioma (CCH) accompanying with central serous chorioretinopathy (CSCR) in the right eye, which might have worsened with systemic steroid treatment. CCH may rarely present with accompanying CSCR. Besides, OCTA is a non-invasive reliable method for the diagnosis of CCH in terms of visualizing vascular features of tumor.
