description Polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (PVT) is a lethal cardiac arrhythmia. It requires medical intervention, including defibrillation, or imminent death may result. A 26-year-old male patient presented to the emergency department with complaints of syncope while working on the farm; later diagnostic testing indicated PVT. As cardiovascular disorders are becoming increasingly prevalent in urban as well as rural areas, it is a need of time to make our facilities well equipped for resuscitation measures by implementing advanced cardiac life support.
