Although the majority of cases reported are not severe, basic precautionary measures are key to preventing this infection from turning into a catastrophic pandemic. We report a case of a 54-year-old male with no high-risk behavior who developed a sudden uncharacteristic monkeypox virus rash while on a flight from Nigeria.
