Four temporin-derived peptides exhibit antimicrobial and antibiofilm activities against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus : Anti-MRSA peptides derived from temporin

Temporin-GHa (GHa) was cloned from Hylarana guentheri, showing a weak antimicrobial activity. In order to improve its bactericidal efficacy, GHaR6R, GHaR7R, GHaR8R and GHaR9W were designed and synthesized.
