The gene order of the 13 PCGs in this species exhibited extensive rearrangement and differences in comparison to other Cuspidariidae, indicating that gene order is not conserved within this family. Phylogenetic analysis based on 13 PCGs and 2 rRNAs recovered a monophyletic Cuspidariidae.
