Sumario:The COVID-19 pandemic has brought fear and havoc into the world in ways we have never imagined. More than 10 million people have been infected and more than 500,000 have died worldwide. Until now no definite cure has been discovered and no vaccine is yet available for its prevention. Efforts and resources have been poured in to address these challenges. However, the future is still not secured, and lives and economies all over the world are still at risk of continued destruction. In this book chapter, we present the various mono and combination therapies currently being used by health professionals to combat this disease. To date, no single therapy has been shown to completely eradicate the infection, but interim data on the use of combination treatments have shown better outcome.
