Practical synthesis of isocoumarins via Rh(III)-catalyzed C–H activation/annulation cascade

Herein, we report an unprecedented Rh(III)-catalyzed C–H activation/annulation cascade of readily available enaminones with iodonium ylides towards the convenient synthesis of isocoumarins.
