Sumario:Impaired wound healing presents great health risks to diabetics. Encouragingly, the current clinical successfully found out meaningful method to repair wound tissue, and stem cell therapy could be an effective method for diabetic wound healing with its ability to accelerate wound closure and avoid amputation. This minireview aims at introducing stem cell therapy for facilitating tissue repair in diabetic wounds, discussing the possible therapeutic mechanism and clinical application status and problems.
