This syndrome has characteristic ECG findings and predisposes patients to ventricular tachyarrhythmias and sudden cardiac death. We would like to highlight the necessity of aggressively treating febrile episodes in patients with BrS. The degree of risk for malignant arrhythmias in asymptomatic patients diagnosed with BrS is not clear. However, the potential for malignant arrhythmia is still there and increases in the setting of febrile episodes. |
