Sumario:Ankle arthroscopy has been on the slow rise from around the year 2000 after its inception in the 1940s. After the foundation of IOSSMA shortly followed by INAFAS, the number of cases that had been done with arthroscopy increased dramatically in Indonesia. Nowadays, it becomes a very handy tool for helping patients to alleviate the ankle pain as long as the indication is fulfilled. This short lecture will give some light for orthopaedic surgeons who are interested in Ankle arthroscopy by learning the proper indication and how to setup the operating theater for the procedure.
