description INTRODUCTION: In the United States, 80.000-100.000 Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury repairs are performed annually. Recent development added lateral extra-articular tenodesis (LET) to improve the outcome of ACL reconstruction. This research evaluates the outcome of LET in ACL injury based on our experiences evaluated in effectiveness and complication. METHODS: This case series included three patients diagnosed with ACL rupture in Cipto Mangunkusumo General Hospital from January to February 2022. All patients underwent ACL reconstruction followed by LET. RESULTS: In our studies, all of our cases underwent surgery with successful clinical outcomes. In addition, all patients in our studies also reported no complications postoperatively. CONCLUSION: The addition of LET in ACL reconstruction was found to be successful with no complications. Further application of the method is endorsed to bring more benefits with less risk of side effects or failure. Follow-up should be done to observe the long-term effects of the method.
