Sumario: | The most common type of dementia disease is Alzheimer, which placing a heavy burden on the healthcare system all over the world. At the same time, psoriasis is also one of the most common health problems, as a skin disease. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is more often in patients with psoriasis than in the general people. Several evidence has proved the relation between AD and psoriasis through immune-mediated pathophysiologic processes. This review aims to summary the potential relation between AD and psoriasis, and provide suggestions based on the relationship at the same time. Neurologists, dermatologists should pay attention to the relationship between Alzheimer’s disease and psoriasis. Dermatology and neurology need referral each other when it is necessary. |
