Sumario:An elderly female patient with a long-standing history of Kaposi’s sarcoma of the lower limbs was referred to the Surgical Department after the subsequential failure of multiple lines of systemic chemotherapy. The patient was also complaining of increasing symptoms including intractable pruritus, which negatively impacted her quality of life. She underwent palliative electrochemotherapy with bleomycin (15 g/m(2)) on the sarcomatous lesions of the left foot and ankle, which lead to complete clinical response and resolution of symptoms; no adverse events were reported. Electrochemotherapy is a valid option in the palliative treatment of Kaposi’s sarcoma, as it may lead to satisfactory clinical response and symptom control.
