“…The proposal is based on strengthening Mexico’s competitive advantage as a producer of free chemical coffee, in areas such as: a) promoting coffee quality, through the assimilation of technologies that allow the recovery of the coffee plantations b) diffusion of inherited practices, proven by farmers and producers in the management of coffee plantation, which favor the preservation of its territory and microenvironments, against the implementation of actions taken by the federal government such as the exchange of “tolerant to rust” varieties grown in semi-open field, involving the rapid and irreversible destruction of forest ecosystems in Mexico and the world.…”
