Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) targeting the N1 and N2 genes of SARS-CoV-2 demonstrate that all 24-h composite samples harvested from the pumping station over a period of 5.5 weeks had strong viral signal, while all samples 24-h composite samples harvested from the lagoon over the same period were below the limit of quantification. …”
