All Salmonella Kentucky (n = 5) were resistant to ciprofloxacin. CONCLUSION: This study showed that farm environments represent an important reservoir for antibiotic-resistant Salmonella, which warrants monitoring and good husbandry practices, especially in commercial farms during the rainy season, to control the spread of this pathogen.…”
