To further understand the functions of LapC and LapD in regulating LPS biosynthesis, we show that the overproduction of the intact LapD suppresses the temperature sensitivity (Ts) of lapC190, but not when either its N-terminal transmembrane anchor or specific conserved amino acids in the C-terminal domain are mutated. …”
