40886“…Ahora bien, a pesar de que existen vías legales para lograr la liberación de las vacunas, no se ha materializado, por lo tanto, no puede descartarse la viabilidad de la crítica Marxista al capitalismo y los derechos humanos, ya que, se prioriza la acumulación, aun cuando es evidente la emergencia sanitaria, menospreciando el derecho humano a la salud.ABSTRACT: The objective of this work was to make visible the inequality between countries regarding access to vaccines for Covid-19, as well as to expose the collision of intellectual property rights and health, a problem that would hinder -to some extent- the release of patents; in parallel, various basic concepts of Marx's critique of capitalism are addressed, in the sense that, according to this perspective, vaccines are wares and fundamental rights are simple good intentions. The methodology used was based on the search, review and analysis of the ordinances, reports, statistics and research that contemplate the real situation of deaths from Covid-19, existing and approved vaccines, supplies purchased by countries, as well as the regulation of intellectual property and the right to health. …”
