9441por Naeem, Ahmad, Saluja, Sachdev Arti, Krishna, Deo, Shitanshu, Malhotra, Arun, Sachdev, Taseer, Bashir“…RESULTS: Bacteria and fungi were significantly more frequent in dentist’s hand with rings than those without rings. 63% versus 37% (bacterial prevalence), among the isolated potentially pathogenic microorganisms were Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans. CONCLUSION: In the present study potentially pathogenic microorganisms were more frequent in dentists who wore finger rings under gloves.…”

Using TCR transgenic T cells in combination with an experimental model of oropharyngeal candidiasis (OPC) we investigated antigen presentation and Th17 priming by different subsets of dendritic cells (DCs) present in the infected oral mucosa. …”

Its genome contains three MAT-like cassettes, MAT, which encodes either MATa or MATalpha information in different strains, and the additional loci, HML and HMR. …”

The present study investigated the antifungal activity of CGA-N46, and its underlying mechanism, against numerous Candida spp. …”
