MAPCLASS2: a code to aid the optimisation of lattice design

MAPCLASS2 is a major update of the code MAPCLASS [1]. The new code adds more flexibility and a wider toolset to aid the optimisation of lattice design. This document contains an overview of the code along with some observations and considerations.
