The ATLAS Electromagnetic Calorimeter
The ATLAS LAr electromagnetic calorimeter is presented. After an introduction about the layout and construction challenges, its in-situ measured performance is discussed. On top of that its role in the H->gammagamma channel as well as upgrade plans are briefly discussed.
