Summer student report: high-precision (NNLO) determination of the QCD coupling from Z and W cross sections at hadronic colliders.
We calculate W and Z cross sections for various detectors (D0, CDF, LHCb, CMS, ATLAS) for different strong coupling constant values and find the best value by comparing the calculations to the experimental values.
