The NA48 liquid krypton calorimeter
The NA48 proposal for a new precision measurement of $\epsilon'/\epsilon$ in CP violating $K^{0} \to 2\pi$ decays is presented. The main emphasis is on the liquid krypton electromagnetic calorimeter and a status report of the work on a prototype is given.
