ROBOTIC SOLUTIONS - Beam Loss Monitoring (BLM) robotic wagon for sensor validation
Beam Loss Monitoring (BLM) devices are used to monitor the activity of the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) when is in an operational phase. If the beam is to divert from its 27km path course and escapes the accelerator unwantedly, the BLM sensors detect if the beam is lost.
