Surface and underground civil engineering at HiLumi Point 1
In the US/UW17 cavern, next to the ATLAS experiment site, the final lining is completed. Paint work and steel structures are on-going. On the surface, the waterproofing is finished at the PM17 shaft. This shaft leads down and reaches the LHC tunnel.
