description CERN and CIEMAT team performed the assembly of the first long Orbit Corrector MCBXFA in Building 927 (Prévessin site). This first prototype will be assembled in the Corrector Package cold mass for HL-LHC to be installed in the IT String. HL-LHC Inner Triplet (IT) STRING comprises all circuits from Q1 to D1 with their respective cold and warm powering and protection equipment as well as their associated cryogenic and vacuum systems (i.e. the length of the machine with one single vacuum chamber containing the two beams). Two types of nested orbit combined correctors are necessary for LHC upgrade, so called MCBXFA and MCBXFB. They shared the same cross section, but feature different lengths, 2.5 and 1.5 m, respectively.
