Extraction of $\alpha_s$ and constraint on the Higgs mass from Electroweak fits at the Z resonance
The determination of the Z lineshape parameters at LEP1 is presented and the value of $\alsmz$ is derived from these measurements. The constraint on the Higgs mass obtained from a global fit to LEP1 and SLC data is also given.
