First winding tests at Siegen using the final winding machine and the dummy conductor with 99.5% pure aluminium insert and no Rutherford cable.

Very first tests of the final winding machine have been performed at Siegen using 1500 m of a dummy conductor with a 99.5% pure aluminium insert weded at Techmeta.
