Considerations on $\nu_{mu} \to$ or from $\nu_{\tau}$ appearance experiments using the emulsion technique
The performance of an experiment "a la OPERA" with a neutrino beam from a nu -factory is presented. In particular the expected background, the sensitivity and the discovery potential of such an experiment are discussed. (11 refs).
