The vector and axial vector couplings probe the validit y of the Standard Model of elementary particle physics. Deviations of the measuremen ts from the Standard Model prediction are discussed in the framew ork of extended models. The pro cess e + e - -> hadrons and e + e - -> bb were studied. The hadronic events were selected at an e ectiv e cen tre{of{mass energy of p s 0 > 0 : 85 p s and from these, events with B hadrons were separated. The selection of events containing B hadrons is performed using the L3 B-tag, exploiting the relatively long lifetime of B hadrons.
