A search for excited quarks at the CERN LHC
We have studied the production of excited quarks q* of spin-1/2 predicted by composite models. Production rates, signatures and backgrounds are discussed for the CERN LHC. We estimate the discovery mass reach for excited quarks decaying to photon+jet.
