Spatial Resolution Studies in Cathode Pad and in Cathode Strip Chambers

The dimuon spectrometer of ALICE will measure the production of heavy vector mesons via their muonic decay. The anomalous suppression of the J/Y,U, etc. production is one of the possible signatures of the QGP formation [1].
