ALSIM Proposal for an ALICE DAQ Modelling and Simulation Project
This proposal describes the development of a simulation environment ALSIM for the ALICE DAQ system. The DAQ architecture will be modelled and simulated in order to provide information on the behaviour of the system as well as requirements for topology, technology, link bandwidth, etc.
