Dynamic Aperture Studies for the LHC Optics Version5
LHC optics version 5 shows a significant reduction of the dynamic aperture for predominantly horizontal motion. Large horizontal detuning has been identified as the cause for this deterioration and it s correction allows for a considerable improvement of the dynamic aperture.
