Lean future for research
Particle physicists in the UK will have huge cuts in their scientific programmes as a result of a significant shortfall in funding. This will include cuts of 10% for the ATLAS and CMS detectors, 20% for the LHCb detector and 50% for the ALICE detector (1/2 page).
