$\xi \pi$ Resonance with mass 1606 MeV/c2
Evidence is found for a strangeness -2 baryon resonance ( Xi /sup -/ pi /sup +/) with mass 1605.5+or-5.6 MeV/c/sup 2/ and width 20.8+or-7.4 MeV/c/sup 2/ in the reaction K/sup -/p to Xi /sup -/ pi /sup +/K/sup 0 /(890) at the K/sup -/ momenta 3.13, 3.30 and 3.58 GeV/c.
