Sumario:The experiment used a liquid deuterium target associated with a neutron detector, a magnetic spectrometer and a system of veto counters which rejected the inelastic events. It was performed in a low energy K/sup -/ beam at the CERN PS. From the analysis of the K /sup -/d to K/sup -/np reactions where the proton is slow enough to be considered as a spectator the K/sup -/n to K/sup -/n elastic cross section was extracted for most of the CM angular range and for a K/sup -/n CM energy going from 1.85 to 2.3 GeV. The effects due to the Fermi momentum were taken into account. Corrections due to internal double scattering were evaluated through a Monte-Carlo program and applied to the data. A phase shift analysis of these new data together with all the K/sup -/p available data in the energy range has been done. (5 refs).
