The hold and pause modes for CAMAC block-transfers
The Pause mode of block transfer to or from a CAMAC module can be used when there is uncertainty about both the block length and the readiness of the module. Alternatively, the standard Stop mode, which deals with block length, can be augmented by the Hold technique. (0 refs).
