The study of the reaction e/sup +/e/sup -/ to e/sup +/e/sup -/K/sub S//sup 0/K/sup +or-/ pi /sup -or+/ shows evidence of the formation of eta (1440), f/sub 1 /(1285) and f/sub 1/(1420) while only the f/sub 1/(1285) is formed in the e/sup +/e/sup -/ to e/sup +/e/sup -/ eta pi /sup +/ pi /sup -/ interaction. The measured value of the eta (1440) two-photon width indicates a strong gluon content.
