Radiation Monitors as a Vacuum Diagnostic for the Room Temperature Part of LSS
In this note we evaluate the possibility to use the radiation monitors as a tool for the vacuum diagnostics in the straight sections of the LHC, based on the current understanding of the residual pressure dynamics and the background simulations in the IR5.
