ISR Superconducting Quadrupoles
This picture shows four of the eight Quadrupoles manufacured by industry after assembly in their cryostat at CERN.They were then installed at intersection I8 of the ISR, where together with the other four they formed the Superconducting High-Luminosity ( Low-beta )Insertion.
